Our story

Built for Buddy, and for every dog who still has miles left in them.

Longwalks started with one simple question: if I was investing more in my own health as I got older, why wasn't I doing the same for my dog?

Meet Buddy

11-year-old lurcher. Chief inspiration officer.

The dog behind the idea.

Buddy is my 11-year-old lurcher. He's very rarely unwell, always been incredibly fit for a hound, and for years he was the dog that never seemed to slow down.

Lately, though, I started noticing small changes. Nothing dramatic, just the kind of signs dog owners know instinctively. He wasn't quite as springy, quite as eager to power through the longest walks, and it made me stop and think.

As I'm getting closer to 40, I've spent more time and money investing in my own health, training better, recovering better, thinking more proactively. And that led to a very obvious question: why hadn't I taken that same approach with Buddy?

I didn't want to wait until he was properly struggling. I wanted to support him earlier, while he was still healthy, active and full of character, just in need of a bit more help than he used to be.

Why Longwalks exists

I couldn't find the kind of product I wanted to give my own dog.

Once I started researching, it became clear there were certain ingredients that kept coming up for joint support — green lipped mussel, collagen and a handful of other key actives with real potential to help dogs stay mobile and comfortable.

Rest days matter too.

But the market felt split in two. On one side, products made abroad, packed with fillers and sold in huge volumes across Amazon and superstores. On the other, some genuinely good formulas — at prices that felt out of reach for everyday use.

So I sought expert advice and built the product I actually wanted for Buddy: thoughtfully formulated, made in the UK, no unnecessary filler, and priced so proactive care didn't feel like a luxury purchase.

Ingredients & quality

Made with the same standards I'd want for Buddy.

Longwalks was built to sit in the middle ground I couldn't find: high-quality ingredients, expert formulation, UK manufacturing, and a price that makes daily use realistic.

UK-made to high standards

Every batch is made here in the UK to GMP standards, with quality controls you can trust.

Expert-led formulation

The formula was shaped by research and expert advice, not trend ingredients or marketing fluff.

No unnecessary filler

Each ingredient has a purpose. The aim was always a cleaner formula, not a bulked-out label.

Key active ingredients

Including ingredients like green lipped mussel and collagen, alongside other carefully chosen joint-supporting actives.

Built close to home

A shorter, more transparent supply chain means better oversight and more confidence in what ends up in the tub.

Priced for real life

Longwalks was created to be good enough for your dog and affordable enough to stay part of the routine.

Always check the feeding guide on each pack and speak to your vet if your dog is on medication or has a known health condition.

Ed and Buddy

Longwalks is named for the thing I missed most — those easy, happy long walks with Buddy.

This product started as something personal: helping my own dog feel more like himself again. If it helps other dogs stay active, comfortable and ready for more adventures too, that's exactly why we made it.
